Intel预计在不久之后推出新一代处理器,不过芯片组的部分这一代并没有更新,仍是 700 系列,也就意味着主板处理器实际上是可以通用的,旧的板子可能需要更新 BIOS 以支持,虽然没有新的芯片组,但各主板厂也会推出新的板子加入新的功能支持或加强硬件设计。
GIGABYTE 在 Z790 芯片组的部分则是更新推出了 “ X ” 世代,与旧版相比在型号上就是多了 X 字样以利区隔。 新的 X 世代主板特别在 DDR5 内存效能上、BIOS 改良和创新的硬件功能进行加强,为新一代处理器做好预备。 目前已经推出的包括AORUS XTREME X、MASTER X、ELITE X、PRO X等,未来也会有B760芯片组更新。
入手开箱的是 Z790 AORUS ELITE X WIFI7 。 ELITE X 有三种,在于无线网络的差异,包括没有支持无线功能的ELITE X、支持WIFI 6E的ELITE XAX、支持WIFI 7的ELITE X WIFI7。

Z790 AORUS ELITE X WIFI7 外观上与之前的 ELITE 也有明显的差异,不过整体的线条元素、老鹰标、AORUS 字样都还是有的。

采用标准的ATX尺寸,整体黑灰色低调路线。 X 系列在硬件、规格上也有明显差异性,如DDR5可以支持达到8266+MHz,M.2散热片改采无螺丝设计,并且AORUS X全系列都用上了8mm热导管,并且应对旗舰重量级显卡,针对了PCIe显卡插槽进行耐受力强化,PCB也都有8层板(以上)的设计。

在PCIe x16插槽的后方的拆卸卡榫做了PCIe EZ-Latch加高设计,可使拆卸更容易。

第一根 PCIe x16 插槽针对了现在旗舰显卡越来越重的对应设计,原本采用加固金属板,而 X 系列则用上了一体式无接缝的金属装甲,可承受50公斤,相比一般设计要高出10倍,另外在前端内侧也采用了胶条配置,避免刮伤显卡。

在 M.2 的散热片上面则改用了无螺丝卡榫 M.2 EZ-Latch Click 设计。 简单一扳就可以拆下散热片,也不用担心螺丝喷飞找不到的问题。

4个M.2都是PCIe 4.0 x4规格,皆有应散热片,并且有导热垫。 第一个M.2的底部也有导热垫,这部分在配件上还贴心的多附了一张可替换。 另外在 M.2 安装也是免螺丝的 EZ-Latch Plus 设计。

小结
搭配Core i9-13900K的测试应该大家都看腻了,在Z790AORUS ELITE X WIFI7上面一样能发挥上既有的效能,其实主要影响较大的还是CPU散热器的问题。 技嘉新的 X 系列在供电散热相对应于之前版本有更好的解热能力,DDR5 也能支持到更高 8266+MHz 的时脉速度,另外 M.2 散热片、安装也都用上了便利的无螺丝设计,PCIe 显卡插槽则是升级了耐受力更高的金属装甲以承受越来越像砖头的旗舰显卡,部分型号也添加了更高速的无线网络 WI-FI 7 供选择,这个应该也是这次各厂 Z790 更新的重点之一。
